Yoga’s benefits for increasing strength and flexibility in the physical body are widely known and draw many people to regular practice. Additionally, studies show that the combination of postures, breath, and meditation in yoga may also benefit mental health, including a reduction of symptoms of anxiety, stress, and depression and improved overall mental health.
Join Dayna Pinkerton, C-IAYT, LAPC, yoga therapist and mental health counselor to learn more about how yoga impacts the mind-body system. We will specifically target nervous system response and reactivity to stress to improve mental well-being. This workshop will include educational and practice elements designed to offer you practical takeaways to implement in your life. All are welcome to attend!

Dayna was the first teacher that seemed to really understand my practice. I liked the slower pace of the class that allowed for focus on position and alignments within the pose. I also liked how she always asked us what we wanted from the class before we started and how she would slowly incorporate new poses into the practice. Practice always seemed to be the perfect amount of challenge. Eric
Practicing yoga under Dayna's leadership is a truly transformative experience. Dayna's intuition is matched only by her technical expertise.
